Kiftsgate Court Gardens is a series of interconnecting gardens and is the creation of three generations of women gardeners from the same family.

The gardens are a plantsman's delight with species from all over the world. At any time of the year there is something of interest to draw you back again and again.

The upper gardens, surrounding the house are planted to give harmonious colour schemes, whilst the sheltered lower gardens provide a home for plants from warmer climes and recreate the atmosphere of the Mediterranean.

The Rose Border. A blue brick path is edged each side with Rosa gallica versicolor. Many have sported back to its brilliant crimson parent, the Apothecary's rose, Rosa gallica maxima, giving a brilliant and bizarre effect when in flower. The borders are filled with a variety of old fashioned roses interspersed with pink deutzias for effect before they flower.
